Scripture is clear that young families are vital to the ministry of any New Testament Church (Titus 2:6-8).  Ministry to young adults is of utmost importance at Valley.  Discipling and training of young adults, single or married, to be devoted followers of Jesus Christ and providing ministry opportunities for them are core principles of our mission.  

We offer a number of Bible Study classes on Sunday mornings during our Sunday School hour. This time provides study of the Scriptures at a proper level of understanding for each member of the family. It provides an opportunity for its class members to share their needs with others in a class; it provides an opportunity for personal application of the Scriptures, aimed specifically for the age level of the class; and it provides fellowship and a sense of belonging to the members of each class.

The first few years of marriage are often the most difficult, but can also be the most joyous.  As the couples establish a solid foundation for their marriage (Matthew 7:24-27), we hope they become more like Jesus, experience healthy community, grow in oneness with their spouse, and learn to live on mission with their life and marriage.

While the individuals attending every Tuesday night may view this as simply hanging out with friends, having supper together at our long table creates a family atmosphere in which everyone can feel comfortable and willing to engage once worship and small group Bible study and discussion begins.

The Vineyard provides a place for inward evaluation of self, a platform for outward edification of others, and the practice of upward glorification of our Savior.
