Senior Adults

Ministry to and with older adults is key.   In an unstable world, this provides a unique opportunity for us at Valley to focus on ministry to senior adults. We not only want to provide ministry that helps this age group reach and disciple their peers, but we also want to provide ministry that encourages and enables them to "pass the baton" to future generations.  We believe we have the most amazing group of senior adults ever assembled, and there is always room for more.

Our JOY (Just Older Youth)  ministry is for those that are 55+ years old.  

Monthly Gatherings

JOY Group Breakfast

First Tuesday of the month 

On the first Tuesday of every month our senior adults meet at The Country Kitchen in Kensett at 8:30 am  for a time of fellowship and prayer.  Come join us, we have a seat saved for you!

JOY Group Potluck

Third Thursday of the month

On the third Thursday of every month our senior adults meet at the church for a potluck and time of fellowship.  Make your favorite dish and come have a great time with this special group of people.

Sunday School

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

We offer a number of Bible Study classes on Sunday mornings during our Sunday School hour. This time provides study of the Scriptures at a proper level of understanding for each member of the family. It provides an opportunity for its class members to share their needs with others in a class; it provides an opportunity for personal application of the Scriptures, aimed specifically for the age level of the class; and it provides fellowship and a sense of belonging to the members of each class.
